Kindergarten and Early Learning Centre Incursions

Aussie Wildlife Displays specialises in educational wildlife demonstrations for children of all ages. Shows for early learning centres and kindergartens are kept simple and are displayed in a way that young children can enjoy and will understand. Our demonstrations are a great introduction to native wildlife and are based around education and conservation but are also interactive and the children are given a chance to hold and interact with the animals. For early learning centres and kindergartens we have three different exciting, fun and educational demonstrations which showcase a variety of native animals. We cover a variety of topics in our demonstrations including diets, shapes, textures, camouflage and range. The demonstrations are kept simple and are easy for young children to understand. As well as this we offer an interactive experience and the children are given the opportunity to touch all the animals and are given the opportunity to hold the animals.

Wildlife Wonders:

Our wildlife demonstrations cover a range of intriguing and interesting wildlife including reptiles such as snakes, lizards and crocodiles, marsupials including sugar gliders, rufous bettongs and a wombat, amphibians and a native predatory bird such as an owl or a kookaburra. Explanations on each animal are kept basic for the children and focus on diets, range and visual characteristics such as size and colour. As all the children are given the opportunity to interact with the animals we also cover different textures and animal shapes. The incursion are kept interactive the whole way through with the kids being able to pat each animal. All our animals have been interacting with humans for a long period of time or are human reared and we guarantee safety at all our demonstrations, displays and incursions. Our Wildlife Wonders show goes for just under one hour.

Australian Reptiles:

Our reptile incursions gives the children an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s unique reptiles! We bring along a great variety of native reptiles including snakes, turtles and a variety of lizards such as dragons, skinks, geckos and legless lizards. We also bring along some frogs for something slimy! Explanations on each animal are kept basic and focus on diets, range and visual characteristics such as size and colour. As all the children are given the opportunity to interact with the animals we also cover different textures, animal shapes and how reptiles are different to other warm blooded animals. The incursion are kept interactive the whole way through with the kids being able to pat each animal. All our animals have been interacting with humans for a long period of time or are human reared and we guarantee safety at all our demonstrations, displays and incursions. This incursion goes for just under one hour.
